Oleksandr Irvanets' new stories unfold on the Volyn landscape and Volyn legends, but, as befits the works of Pidskarbiy "Bubabu", in whimsical combinations and accompanied by heart-breaking adventures. Living and dead characters Ukrainians, Germans, Poles, French, Russians take part in the story that gave the book its title. And also zombakis and Tyburtsius with three tattered children. A kind of international, part of which fights on the side of good, and part on the side of evil. Of course, if it weren't for the time loop, the heroes and anti-heroes would never have crossed paths, but it turns out that time knows how to twist into amazing spirals. The tale of vicissitudes and bizarre anecdotes is complemented by a melodrama about the VKL Volyn cats-legends, as well as short sketches created in that burlesque tone, which, despite its phantasmagoricness, reflects life itself as best as possible.
