Maylene Jones lives with her parents, hates her job, and her personal life is chaotic and messy. And worst of all, this year is the last time her family will spend Christmas in the best place in the world - a winter cabin in Utah. It's where Mae spent the holidays with family friends and their sons Andrew and Theo since she was a little girl, but now they're in trouble and have to sell the cabin. A little era is coming to an end, and it makes her extremely sad. Driving home by car, the girl mentally begs the universe to show her what can make her happy. Suddenly, the car is hit from the side - metal creaking, glass cracking - and everything is swallowed up in darkness. Maylene opens her eyes on the plane on the way to Utah. Then, one disaster after another brings her back to the plane. Living in the Groundhog Day of Christmas, the girl must figure out how to get out of this time loop and find her true love at the same time.
