This book, which consists of text an carefully selected photographs, presents the pathJorge Mario Bergoglio has been on since he was born in the Argentinian family of Italianimmigrants, until he became the head of the Holy See. We first learn about his childhood,with a priceless influence of his grandmother, his youth, when he went his own ways, andthe time he grew ready for the priesthood. We then move to his biography as a priest (1969-1992), the Auxiliary Bishop of Archdiocese in Buenos Aires (1992-1998) and the Archbishopof Buenos Aires (1998-2013), who was elevated to the rank of cardinal by Pope John Paul IIin 2001. A separate part covers the Conclave after the resignation of Benedict XVI from thepost of the Bishop of Rome, when his successor was appointed. The other information andphotographs are an attempt to summarise the pontificate so far.
