By the time The Police played their final show on March 4, 1984, at Melbourne Showground in Australia, they were by far the largest group in the world, one of the largest bands of all time, an outstanding live act.

Thirty years since their first songs began to be recorded by Sting, Andy Summers and Steward Capeland, The Plice relase a 30-song, double disc CD "best of" collection entitled The Police.
