Macbeth

Macbeth is a valiant warrior loyal to King Duncan - until a witches' prophecy suggests he will himself one day sit upon the throne. He is soon made Thane of Cawdor in reward for his battlefield exploits, fulfilling the first of the witches' predictions. But when it comes to being crowned, Macbeth - spurred on by his steely, resolute wife - decides to give Fate a helping hand.
