The Rule of Law, Democracy and Constitutionalism Dialogue between Japan and Poland

Fathoming the origins and legal evolution of the political systems of Poland and Japan and their legal institutions is interesting in cognitive and intellectual terms and, above all, has a practical dimension. This process has been highly dynamic and complex throughout history and has certainly not yet been completed. This publication attempts to indicate the main directions of changes in both countries concerning the functioning of basic institutions against the background of universally accepted standards resulting from the rule of law.
