Awakening. A beautiful word, isn't it? To awaken to life. Awaken. If I had to formulate my definition of awakening, I'd say it's the moment when you understand that a relationship with yourself is the source of everything. Understanding who I am and having the courage to abide in authenticity are essential to living well. And the path that you are wandering on makes you actually turn back towards home. An inner home. Furnish it to your liking, paint the walls, open the windows, air it out and stretch out comfortably. Your place, darling, is right here. If you don't know how, you don't know where, you don't really know anything yet, but you already have the certainty that you don't want things to be the way they were before, then you are on the right path. I invite you, let's walk it together. You will learn not only my story, but also the stories of women who have trusted me. I believe you will find yourself in us. And if your awakening hasn't happened yet, the journey of the heroines of this book will inspire you to open yourself up to change. And I will tell you how loneliness became my refuge. How I stopped depending on others and started depending on myself. How I turned the fear that was paralysing me into the courage to make very difficult decisions, to reach for my dreams.
