We then move to his biography as a priest (1969-1992), the Auxiliary Bishop of Archdiocese in Buenos Aires (1992-1998) and the Archbishopof Buenos Aires (1998-2013), who was elevated to the rank of cardinal by Pope John Paul IIin 2001.
