It has been fifty years since the name of the Beatles was serendipitously conceived in the summer of 1960. History did not actually start at that moment, since three of the Liverpudlians had been playing together for some time already, but it certainly made a memorable turn. In two years the band released their first single, a year later - their first album, after which it was not long before the world heard about Beatlemania and the "Aeolian cadences".
